Hey, James here, and this episode is brought to you by Jellypod AI. The release from the past week is Grok Bot version 0.75.2, which xAI shipped on October 22nd, 2026. Last time we covered 0.71.2, the one with 250 megabyte file uploads, 200 plugin skills, and sleep resilience. That was mostly plumbing. This release rolls up seven versions, 0.72.0 through 0.75.1, and it's a different kind of update. The Bot stops being just something you chat with and starts producing things you can open, share, and keep alive.

The headline is Pages. Per the official changelog, bots can build Pages, such as reports, memos, and dashboards, that you edit together with the Bot, or that you have the Bot keep up to date. Think of a weekly status memo that the Bot refreshes on a routine, instead of a document that goes stale the minute you export it. Eric Zakariasson posted the release on X and described them as reports, memos and dashboards your bot builds and keeps up to date. A Page can also capture the pointer and fill the screen, so a dashboard can take over your whole monitor.

Sharing is where this gets practical. On Teams, page owners can share a Page with their whole organization or with another team in it, and team admins can limit who is allowed to share Pages with everyone on the team. The dashboard now has a Pages section that lists what you've shared, where you can unshare or delete. My tip: before you roll Pages out to a team, have an admin decide who gets mass sharing rights. Otherwise a live dashboard can reach the whole company by accident.

There are also a few fixes that make Pages usable day to day. Keyboard shortcuts, including ⌘F and the command palette, now work while a Page is open, and the palette no longer closes the Page. Pressing Back closes the Page and keeps you on that Bot, instead of jumping to whichever Bot you viewed before. And if the Bot renames a Page, the cards and titles update right away.

Second big one: video. Bots can create videos from a description or from an image you share. Eric posted an example made from an image with the prompt, quote, turn this into a video. A task the Bot hands off to a helper can also create images and videos for the chat. Related cleanup: captioned images offer Copy and Download on hover, and Bot pictures larger than about 3 megabytes now save, which was a real limit before.

Third: money. Bots can now pay with Shop Pay, through Shop checkout where a store accepts it, and with a one time Shop card elsewhere. You can connect X Money in one tap from a chat, the connector page, or checkout, after signing in to X if no X account is linked. When the Bot asks how to pay, you choose on a card instead of typing it out. That pairs with an improvement from the earlier 0.70.2 notes, where a Bot checks with you before an action it can't undo, like buying. So the sensible way to use this is to let the Bot shop, but keep approvals on.

Fourth, and quietly the most important for daily use: memory. What a personal Bot saves to memory in one chat is now remembered in all your chats with it, and only you can change it. Voice calls can also draw on your earlier calls and recent chat with the Bot. So spend a little time telling your Bot your preferences once, then check what it saved, because that memory is now shared across every conversation.
